'He has shoals of poems that swim all over the place,
but often have a darkly comic sting in the tail. Er, do fish
have stings in the tails? Um...anyway, he's very good.’

Cathy Bryant (From her website).

Really like how your tone changes and almost quickens
as the description becomes more violent, only to return in the
last stanza to the affection displayed at the beginning.

Lydia Gardner-Green (From W.O.L comment  on ‘July night skies’)

I really do like this Andy. It has so many mixed emotions. I really
did feel like I  was on the edge of the world. Trust me, i've been
 there spiritually. Quite amazing.

Janet (From W.O.L. comment on ‘Edge of the world with Billy Mackenzie)

Some days, i dont have the strength to make comments to all the
poetry i read in here. some days i am just so mentally knackered
with fatigue of mental stress because of my condition, and i know
on days like this editing my own poetry into something spectacular
is just too tiring. So i sit back in lerk mode and let the day expand.
Today was one of those days where i thought, goddammit, im tired
again. Then i read your poem, and as knackered as i am, it invoked
in me a need to log on and tell you, its a fantastic poem. I can really
empathise with all thats said in the verse. Fantastic, its neither
pretentious or indeed tries too hard, its just there with all its blatant,
honest, truth. Nice one man, really touched me.
